Small biography
Tim Neels, born in Bruges, Belgium, has always been driven by creativity, from drawing cartoons and writing stories to composing music. In 2016, at the age of 30, he picked up his first camera, seeking to bring the emotions evoked by music into visual art. Photography became a way for Tim to express his emotions, creating images that resonate with viewers on a deep level. His work transcends traditional photography, involving deliberate staging, manipulation, and editing to produce conceptual pieces with refined, aesthetic appeal. Inspired by the world around him-people, their stories, and especially music-Tim's creative process is deeply intertwined with sound, which fuels his imagination and enhances the emotional depth of his images. He rejects confining himself to a single style, embracing the freedom to explore photography's boundaries. This flexibility allows Tim to push the limits of his creativity, producing work that challenges conventions and leaves a lasting emotional impact.
